About IIE
Ideal Institute of Engineering, established in 2010 is affiliated to MAKAUT, Kolkata and approved by AICTE. The mission of the institute is to provide higher technical education at the highest level, through the promotion of a world-class center of excellence in the fields of Engineering and Management which will lead to proper cultivation of the body. The college offers B.Tech courses in various disciplines at the undergraduate level. The college also offers Lateral Entry Admission to the B.Tech program. Admission to the courses offered is done based on the candidate's performance in JEE Main/ WBJEE/ JELET Score. The highest Placement Package offered to IIE students is around INR 6LPA.

Additionally, the prospectus and form fee is INR 1000 and the uniform fee is INR 3600.
Rules regarding the payment of fees:
- Demand Draft / Pay Order / Online Payment are to be drawn in the favour of the Trust (Ideal Science & Research Welfare Hub) or Institute (Ideal Institute of Engineering)
- No money will be refunded except caution money when the student wants to leave the college
- Time schedule for all fees collection – within May for odd semester and November for even semester
- Expenses of Industrial Tour and Training have to be borne by students
- Placement Readiness Charges etc extra as actual basis, if applicable

- Swami Vivekananda Scholarship: INR 60,000 to be paid to the eligible candidated by the Govt. of West Bengal.
- Dr. Bhidhan Chandra Roy: Upto INR 60,000 to be paid to the eligible candidated by “ISRWH” Trust (starting from 2nd year onwards). The student must have secured 60% marks in 10+2 along with 60% attendance at IIE, a minimum of 60% marks in semester and timely payment of fee.
