Jerusalem College of Engineering (JCE) Chennai Admission 2024: UG & PG Admission

The institute offers a B.Tech. degree with Information Technology and a B.E. under the following specializations-

• Biomedical Engineering
• Civil Engineering
• Computer Science & Engineering 
• Electronics & Communication Engineering
• Electrical & Electronics Engineering
• Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering

The above-mentioned courses are offered for a duration of four years.

JCE Chennai B.E/B.Tech. Eligibility

• For admissions to BE programs, candidates must have secured at least 50% (45% marks for BC, 40% marks for MBC and SC/ST candidate should have passed the qualifying examination) marks in senior secondary school. 
• The college also offers lateral entry admission to the second year of the undergraduate programs.
• Applicant should have completed Higher Secondary Examination which is conducted by the Department of Education, Government of Tamil Nadu or any other examination holding equivalent value.

JCE Chennai B.E/B.Tech. Selection Criteria

Admission will be granted on the basis of the Entrance exam. After the entrance examinations, the students who get selected in the merit list will be notified to appear for the counseling round.

The TNEA selection process is based upon the candidate’s performance in the subjects out of total marks of 200 - Mathematics (100 marks) and Physics + Chemistry (100 marks) in the qualifying examination.

JCE offers an MBA as well as an M.E. with five disciplines at the postgraduate level for a duration of two years.

JCE Chennai PG Selection Criteria

M.Tech. - Admission to the program will be granted on the basis of the candidate’s performance in TANCET/GATE.

MBA - Selection to the program will be done on the basis of the candidate’s performance in TANCET followed by counseling. 

After the entrance examinations, the students who get selected in the merit list will be notified to appear for the counseling round and select seats according to the rank secured in the TANCET.

Note- The duration of TANCET is 2 hours. There is a negative marking for every incorrect answer.

• Candidate must upload a recent photograph in the allocated space.
• The payment must be done online and it is non-refundable.
• Completed application forms should be sent to ‘The Director, Centre for Research, Anna University, Chennai - 600 025’.
• Candidates should attach the online fee receipt along with the application form.
• He/she must pay an application fee of INR. 500/- (for General Category candidates) and INR. 250/- (for Tamil Nadu SC/ST candidates).
• After filling up the application form for TNEA, applicants must get the application form printed and send it along with the necessary documents to:

• Class X marksheet and passing certificate
• Class XII marksheet and passing certificate

• Identity Proof

• Four recent passport size photographs

TNEA Counselling: As a part of the admission procedure, Anna University will conduct the TNEA counseling in the month of July. On the basis of their performance, candidates will be allotted colleges during the counseling round.
