Admission to Polytechnic Second Year as Lateral Entry through Entrance Examination UPJEE:

For admission to the second year of Polytechnic as Lateral Entry, candidates must have clearly passed the intermediate examination of U.P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board / University with Science stream OR Science with Vocational/ Technical subjects OR I.T.I. (in respective Trade) (Minimum 2 years duration).

Direct admission on vacant seats at institution/college level: 

For admission to the second year of Polytechnic as Lateral Entry, candidates must have clearly passed the intermediate examination of U.P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board / University with Science stream OR Science with Vocational/ Technical subjects OR I.T.I. (in respective Trade) (Minimum 2 years duration) or as notified from time to time by AICTE/ University/ Government of UP.
