What are the “year-back” criteria in AKTU?

At AKTU, the year-back criteria are pretty simple. You are likely to get a year back in any of the following situations: If in a single year, you have back 6 subjects If you score below 30 in 6 subjects in a year If you fail any practical exam If you do not appear for a practical exam If you are accused of UFM or unfair means like cheating to pass an exam Any of the above situations will result in a year back. Try to avoid this as much as possible because it will become very hectic for you.

What is “internal back” in AKTU?

The internal back is a warning given by your teachers to score well in external exams. Otherwise, you might get a year back. This is actually for the students who have failed internal exams. They then focus more on their external exams to compensate for the low marks in internal exams. . Say you have got 20 marks in the Internal Exam, so you are 10 marks short of passing. By scoring at least 40 marks in External you can ensure that you pass the subject. Some situations that result in the internal back are as follows: Attendance below 60% Marks of monthly tests below 30% Lack of communication between you and the faculty. Any of the above scenarios will give you internal back so try to avoid such situations.

What happens if a UFM is showing on an AKTU result?

UFM or Unfair Means is when you have tried to use unfair means such as chits, gadgets, or some other mode to score marks in a particular subject. Such a situation can result in many scenarios: The result will be paused and postponed till the administration takes an action to solve the matter. Contact your Institute Director. He will ask you to write a letter detailing your viewpoint regarding the offense that has been made against you. You will write a letter to the Examination Controller of AKTU and tell him why you were caught using unfair means. Send the printout of your semester results along with this letter. The entire situation will be closely investigated by the UFM committee of AKTU. There will be two results to their verdict. Either you are guilty of UFM during exams or you are innocent and have been falsely accused through some conspiracy. While you apply for this process there are some very important points you need to consider: Apologize to the committee and say you won’t repeat the mistake. If you say you are innocent, you can get Carry Over(CP) in 4 subjects. This will impact your result very poorly. Dont try to use any source of AKTU staff or any employee to recommend you for pardoning from the UFM case. This might in turn harm the entire situation. Handle the situation according to the process. The entire process of resolution of UFM cases is tiring and lengthy and will wear you out in the end. Stay positive and strong throughout the process and wait for the results patiently.

What are the passing criteria for in the AKTU semester?

AKTU passing criteria in a semester is 30 out of 100 15 out of 50 This is only for the external exams. For internal exams, you need to score more than 30 out of 50. If you happen to have a back in any subject of 100 marks or 50 marks then you will get grace marks of 10 and 5 respectively. However, this accounts for the whole year and not just a single semester.

What is the carryover examination process for pass out students at AKTU Does it take place semester wise?

I have a friend from AKTU. He was able to give some information regarding this. According to him, pass-out students get special carryout papers for their first year back paper only. Recently AKTU decided to give 4 years to clear back papers to the students. So, you can clear the back paper even after your final year. You can also clear your back papers semester-wise.

How can I remove a backlog in AKTU? Is there a marked over result if I cleared it?

If you have a backlog in a semester, you need to fill out a carryover form and retake the examination for that subject with your juniors. For odd semester subjects, you need to appear in the next odd semester and for even semester subjects, you need to appear in the next even semester. After you clear the backlog, AKTU will issue a new marksheet. The final result will show pass.

How can I get my degree from AKTU Lucknow? What is the procedure there?

The degrees of all the courses either graduate or postgraduate in AKTU are distributed during the Convocation Ceremony of the respective colleges. There is a chance that your college did not conduct such a ceremony. In this case, the degrees are usually sent to the respective colleges which are kept there for around 2 years. After this, the degrees are sent back to AKTU, Lucknow. To get your degree then the only option left is to visit AKTU personally and submit an application detailing your issue along with essential documents like mark sheets and your ID card. The Vice-Chancellor of AKTU is Mr. Vinay Kumar Pathak. He will help you in this matter. Go to his office and submit the documents and soon your degree will be handed over to you.

Are NPTEL courses compulsory for B.Tech AKTU?

No, NPTEL courses are not compulsory for B.Tech. In AKTU. These courses simply aim at adding qualitative knowledge among the students. In addition, every NPTEL course grants you extra 3 credits. If you are lagging behind in B.Tech. courses then NPTEL courses will definitely help you compensate for the loss. So it can be said that for. B.Tech. student NPTEL courses are highly recommended but not compulsory.

Does APJ AKTU refund money after a challenge evaluation in semester exams? If yes, then what is the procedure?

Getting a refund is only possible if your marks are increased by more than 20%. In the new procedure, the university will evaluate your sheets by themselves, probably in front of the student. You will receive a refund of INR 10,000 which is double the amount you have paid. The amount will be credited to your bank account after the results of the challenge evaluations are announced. Lastly, filing for the challenge evaluation is a very simple process. You need to fill in the details and make the payments. You can do it online or through your college.

One of my cousins is a student at AKTU (Abdul Kalam Technical University). She shared an incident with me which will give you an idea of this university.

During her semester exams at AKTU, she faced a challenging experience. Compiler Design is a subject in the 6th semester of B.Tech. Computer Science. On her compiler design exam day, the question papers were distributed 15 minutes late. It was a regular exam for the new semester. But what she saw shocked her. On the top, it was mentioned - Carry Over Theory Paper Examination. This was a back paper for students who are reappearing and not for regular students. Sometime later a teacher made them change the code of the paper and subjects. All the students were in a panic.

AKTU Admissions

Admissions at the APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University for UG and PG courses are based on the CUET entrance test. The university also accepts JEE Mains scores for B.Tech admissions and counselling will be done through UPTAC. Admission to UG courses such as B.Pharmacy/BHMCT/BFAD/BFA/BDes/BVoc will be based on CUET UG exam, conducted by NTA. Candidates seeking admission to PG courses such as M.Tech/M.Des/M.Pharm/MCA/M.Arch/M.Plan/MURP are required to appear in the CUET PG examination. Faculty management is too impressive and method of conducting program as well.
The text ID of this college is very good which provide support and help in project making.
Exam pattern is very good and the syllubs is very good
Behaviour of Faculty is very good and support is also good.
The teaching method of faculity is very good so i liked this in this college
The placement is very good as many of the colleges don't provide highest packages upto 15Lakhs
Library facilities are so good because anyone can take book for one month with any fees.

The placement is very poor, with even some attached colleges being unable to arrange a single placement. On average, only two or three students get placed at most.
There is a very bad thing about the college: they always trouble students with their fees during exam time, which can make the student bitter towards those who cannot deposit their fees on time.
About Fest college, they organize a lesser number of fests or sports activities as compared to other colleges. They mainly focus on placement and studying.
As the college food is not very healthy and tastes bad.

AFFORDABLE AVERAGE COLLEGE

My college take admission through jee mains aktu counselling and direct admission also. You can get application form in the college reception and form fees is 1000 rs. No reservation benefits. Admission process is very smooth and fast.

I have taken admitted from UPTU which was the entrance exam conducted by the university but now they take admission from CUET. eligibility they require is 70% throughout your academics for application, an application form can be available on the CUET site there is a scholarships facility also which has the income criteria. Overall college is above average.

One Has to opt for biology in 12th and a minimum of 60% is needed. Find the fee structure manually and continued it. Go to the college and ask for every formality. It's nice the process is very smooth. The Quota is reserved for some categories.

There is no entrance examination for admission to the college all you need to get a minimum of 45% marks in the PCM 12 board. All you need is to visit the website of the college and fill out the application form which costs around 800 rupees.
