How to apply for TNEA?

1. Visit the Anna University website and fill out the registration form for TNEA.
2. A fee will be charged, which has to be paid online.
3. Fill out the application with care. Incorrect or incomplete data will result in the candidate’s application being rejected.
4. Take out a printout of the application form and send a copy to the Director of Admissions of Anna University.
5. After the merit list is declared, candidates have to download the counselling call letter and visit the counselling venue with the necessary documents and a demand draft of 5,000 INR.
6. After all processes are completed, an allotment order will be handed to the applicant. At this stage, the counselling fee has to be paid.
7. The candidate has to report to their college and submit the allotment order to confirm their admission.

PCE offers six specializations under the M.Tech course. Interested candidates should have a B.Tech degree in the relevant field.

Eligibility criteria

1. Candidate should have a B.Tech degree with 55% marks
2. For selection, candidates must take the GATE or TANCET, after which they must avail themselves of TANCA counselling.
3. If a candidate has taken the GATE, they need not take the TANCET. However, they should still register for TANCA.
4. Only GATE scores from 2019 to 2021are eligible.
5. B.Tech degrees obtained through distance mode/ weekend courses are not eligible.
6. Candidates from outside Tamil Nadu must apply in the open category.

How to apply for GATE?

• Visit the official website
• Register through the link by entering the candidate’s name, email ID and mobile number.
• After the form is submitted, an enrolment ID will be sent to the candidate’s mobile number.
• Fill out the application form.
• A fee of 1,500 INR (750 INR for women and reserved categories) will be charged. It is to be paid online.
• Download the form and keep a printout for future reference.

GATE counselling:

• Register at the official website
• Fill out the application form
• Pay the registration fee of 2,200 INR (1,700 INR for reserved categories)
• Click on “I agree”
• Start entering your choices. When it is done, lock the choices
• Submit the application and keep a printout

PCE offers two-year courses in the MBA stream under five specializations. Those who wish to pursue should have a Bachelor’s degree in any field with 50% marks. For selection, they have to take the TANCET.

How to apply for TANCET?

1. Visit the website of Anna University.
2. Click on ‘TANCET 2021 Registration’.
3. Enter your name, date of birth, email ID and password to generate ID and password.
4. Log in again. This time, fill out the TANCET Application Form for 2021.1.31
5. Upload a recent coloured passport size photograph.
6. A fee of 600 INR (300 for SC/ST belonging to Tamil Nadu) will be charged, which can only be paid online.
7. After submitting the form, note down the application number that is auto-generated.

How to apply for TANCA?

• Candidates have to register through online mode only at the Web portal.
• Enter a valid mobile number and email ID.
• Fill out the form
• Upload your photograph as per the specifications given in the guidelines.
• After entering all the details, choose the save/submit button.
• Preview the form and make corrections if required.
• Click submit and move to online fee payment. A fee of 500 INR (250 INR for SC/ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu) will be charged.

Documents required for TANCA counselling 2021:

• Class 10 mark sheet
• Class 12 mark sheet or 3-year diploma certificate
• Qualifying degree certificate, provisional certificate and mark sheets of all semesters or consolidated mark sheet.
• Transfer certificate
• Valid GATE 2021 scorecard for GATE (Engineering/Technology) category
• Valid GATE 2021 scorecard and TANCET 2021 hall ticket for GATE Engineering Science/ Life Science category
• TANCET 2021 hall ticket for TANCET category
• Permanent Community certificate or certificate of disability, if applicable
• Nativity certificate, if applicable
