Poornima College of Engineering (PCE) is one of the three cluster colleges established by Shanti Education Society. The college was set up in 2000 and is affiliated to Rajasthan Technical University (RTU).
A plethora of activities and on-field experiences are offered to students who take admission to Poornima College of Engineering. Some of them include a visit to 10 large scale industries, seminars conducted every year and interactive sessions with people actively working in the industry.
Admissions are offered in B.Tech and M.Tech courses. The admission is both entrance and merit-based. Students have to apply for counseling for both B.Tech and M.tech admissions.
B.Tech admissions require students to pass 10+2 in the Science stream. They are also required to qualify the JEE Main exam to be eligible for admissions. Selections are based upon the decision of REAP counseling. Thus, applications are also accepted through REAP.
To get admission in M.Tech program applicants must have a relevant B.E/B.Tech degree and qualify GATE. Applications are accepted through RTU CAM, and admissions are also decided by the same through counseling.
Around 453 students were offered placements belonging to the 2018-19 batch. Almost 89% of the students got admission on-campus. The highest package offered has gone up to 9 LPA. The CSE and IT department saw a maximum number of its students getting placement- 37%.

You should pass 12th to take admission here and should have a high percentage in jee for getting a good amount of scholarship. The most loving thing here is the timing of the college as the students have to spend 7 hours on the campus. This will allow you to work on your skills, in the remaining time and the teachers will definitely help you in every way.
I applied for PCE through reap which is based on JEE mains percentile. The overall cutoff was not fixed. This college was allotted to me 2nd round and I scored 75 percentile in jee mains and 92 per cent in my 12th CBSE boards. I applied for three colleges SKIT, JECRC, and PCE in sequential order for the CSE branch. I was not allotted any college in my first round, but PCE was allotted through upward movement. The admission process was quite simple and mostly all the process, application forms, and fee criteria were available on online sites, especially college dunia. I belong to the general category with no reservation quota and I do not think any improvement is required in the admission process but a bit of improvement is required in its infrastructure
Eligibility is above 60% in class 12th admission process is good. You can see the admission dates, forms And admission fees on their websites. Overall college is good and the faculty is also nice In my opinion.
To just get the addmission, you have to attempt the exam JEE mains and get a minimum 20 percentile score. Then a counseling process will be organized by the Rajasthan government named REAP, you have to participate in this. After registering, a merit list will be declared. And on the basis of your rank, you will get the addmission. it is just normal to get the addmission. In my opinion, if you have around the 40 to 60 percentile in JEE Mains, you will get the addmission.
