The college is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada and approved by AICTE, New Delhi, and the college is located in Chembarambakkam which is 3 km from Poonamalle. The college is formed under the aegis of A.M. Kanniappa Mudaliar and A.M.K Jambulinga Mudaliar Educational Trust.
