- COMEDK 2024 Round 3 Choice Filling will be done between Aug 26 - 28, at @comedk.org. The Round 3 Seat Allotment Result will be announced soon.
- Karnataka PGCET 2024 revised exam dates for M.Tech will be released soon. Meanwhile, MBA/ MCA exam has concluded successfully on August 4 and the final answer key was published on August 16.
About VCET
Vivekananda College of Engineering & Technology (VCET), one of the premier engineering colleges in Karnataka, was established in 2001 by Vivekananda Vidyavardhaka Sangha, Puttur with the vision of providing quality technical education to the rural parts of coastal Karnataka. The VCET campus is surrounded by lush green scenic beauty which is away from the din of city. It offers five undergraduate courses in field of engineering. It is also offers postgraduate courses in the field of management.

- The Library has about 21,338 volumes and over 4,547 varied titles. In addition to the above, a collection of more than 2,907 CDs, books on HRD & Management related subjects, Encyclopedia, etc. are also available
- The college receives about 124 National and International Journals, 40 Magazines and 5 on-line journals for UG programmes
- Digital Library facility has been introduced with on-line journals, DELNET, CDs and computers for browsing
