MSE offers an integrated BA+MA course. The details if the course are as follows:

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying to this course are required to meet the following criteria:

• Applicants must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with minimum 60% marks from a recognized University/Board.
• Required marks are reduced to 55% and 50% for candidates of OBC and SC/ST/PWD categories respectively.
• All applicants are required to have Mathematic/Economics/Statistics as a subject in 10+2.

Selection Criteria

• Candidates are also required to have a valid score in the CUCET examination.
• Marks scored by the candidate in the Third year will be used to allot a relevant specialization for the final 2 years of this course.

MSE offers an MA course. The details of the course are as follows:

MA is offered in the following specializations:

• General Economics
• Financial Economics
• Actuarial Economics
• Applied Quantitative Finance
• Environmental Economics

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying to this course are required to meet the following criteria:

• Applicants must have passed a Graduate degree in any relevant stream with minimum 55% marks from a recognized University.
• Required marks in the qualifying examination are reduced to 50% and 45% for candidates of OBC and SC/ST/PWD categories respectively.
• All applicants are also to have studied Mathematica as a core subject in their XII examination.

Selection Criteria

• Selection to this course is on the basis of the applicant’s CUCET score.
• Students appearing for the CUCET exam must know that
  • It is conducted offline & is in the MCQ format. 
  • The paper is divided into Part A & B which are mandatory to be attempted. Other details are as follows:
    • Part A (25 MCQs): General Awareness
    • Part B (35 MCQs): Teaching Aptitude
    • Part C (40 MCQs): It is further divided into four sub-sections. Candidates have to attempt any one section as per the eligibility. They are: Social Sciences, Language, Physical Science and Mathematics; Life Sciences

MSE offers a 2 year PGDM course. The details if the course are as follows:

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying to this course are required to meet the following criteria:

• Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree(10+2+3) in any relevant stream from a recognized University/Board.
• Applicants who have not yet received their final year results are also eligible to apply for this course. 

Selection Criteria

• Selection to this course is conducted on the basis of the applicant’s score in one of the following management entrance exams- GMAT/CAT/XAT/CMAT/MAT/ATMA.
• Candidates who have been shortlisted on the basis of their Entrance exam scores will then be invited for the Personal Interview.

Note: Applicants with over 2 arrears/backlogs will not be eligible for Admission.

MSE offers a 3 year Ph.D course in Economics. The details of the course are as follows:

Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants must have an MA/M.Sc/M.Phil in the field of Economics from a recognized University/Board with minimum 55% marks in the qualifying examination.
• Students will also be selected based on their research proposal.

Selection Criteria

• Selection to this course is conducted on the basis of the applicant’s score in one of the following entrance exams: UGC-NET or JRF or SET.
• Applicants without those entrance scores are required to take CUCET. This examination will test the candidate’s ability in the following fields:
  • Microeconomics
  • Macroeconomics
  • Indian Economic Development
  • Quantitative methods

• Candidates who have been shortlisted on the basis of their Entrance exam scores will then be invited for the Personal Interview.
