GLA Institute of Business Management - [GLAIBM], Mathura Admission 2024: Ph.D. Admission, Application process

At the undergraduate level, GLA Institute of Business Management - [GLAIBM] offers Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and B.Com degree programmes for a duration of three years each. The BBA programme is offered in six different specializations namely, Marketing Management, Human Resource Management, Financial Management, Banking and Insurance, Family Business and lastly Business Administration.

Candidates who wish to take admission in BBA or B.Com programmes must have passed the 10+2 level examination with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate to be considered eligible to take part in the admission process.

Admission to both BBA and B.Com courses is done on the basis of merit in the GLA University conducted GLA Entrance Test (GLAET).

GLA Institute of Business Management [GLAIBM] offers Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree programme at the postgraduate level in as many as sixteen different specializations to students who wish to pursue a career in business management. The MBA programme spans for a duration of two years.

Aspiring candidates for the MBA programme must hold a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate to be considered eligible for admission.

Admission to the MBA programme is done on the basis of merit in GLAET examination conducted by GLA University. Admission is also done through National and State level competitive examinations like Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs)/ Management Aptitude Test (MAT) conducted by AIMA (All India Management Association)/ Xavier Aptitude Test conducted by Xavier School of Management or Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE) conducted by Dr. APJ Kalam Technical University, Lucknow.

• Minimum marks required in the qualifying examination is 50%.
• 5% relaxation of marks in the eligibility criteria is given by the Institute for SC / ST candidates.
• Candidates must secure a valid GLAET scorecard.
• Preference will be given to candidates who hold a valid CAT / MAT / XAT / UPSEE scorecard.

GLA Institute of Business Management - [GLAIBM] also offers the doctoral programme in the field of Management Studies leading to the Ph.D degree to the research aspirant students. The Ph.D programme is offered under both full-time and part-time basis.

Aspiring candidates for the Ph.D. programme must hold a Master’s degree in any discipline with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks or a 6.75 CGPA on a 10 point scale from a recognized Indian University to be considered eligible for admission.

Admission to the Ph.D programme is done on the basis of merit in entrance examinations which caters to Ph.D admissions conducted by centralized bodies such as University Grants Commision (UGC) or Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR).

The candidates are shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the entrance examinations for a Personal Interview round which will be conducted by the respective departmental research committee. Final selection will be done on the basis of performance of the shortlisted candidates in Personal Interview round.
