Eligibility Criteria

For 2 year IBS Mumbai flagship PGPM Program, IBS Mumbai takes into consideration the below mentioned eligibility criteria:

Graduation (any discipline) with 50% and above marks with medium of instruction as English.
Candidates not meeting the eligibility criteria of English medium in graduation have to submit the TOEFL/ NELT/ IELTS score by May 31 of the admission year.
Applicants in their final year bachelor’s degree course are also eligible to apply, provided they complete their graduation requirements (including practical examinations / viva / assignments) before May 31 of their admission year. The last date for submission of proof of graduation is November 01, 2022.
Eligibility criteria will be checked from August, 2022 onwards. Hence, the applicants should ensure that they satisfy the eligibility criteria as furnished by IBS Mumbai.

Selection Criteria :

The selection process to IBS Mumbai consists of three stages –

Stage I: Written Exam

IBSAT or scores of other exams such as CAT or NMAT by GMAC or GMAT or SNAP or XAT or MAT or CMAT or CET (Maharashtra) and any other State Level Test are also considered valid.

Stage II: Group Discussion & Personal Interview:

Candidates qualified in IBSAT or and any other Test are called for the selection process at one of IBS campuses to appear in a Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

Stage III: Final Shortlisting:

The final selection is based on past academic record and performance of the candidates in Group Discussion and Personal Interview. The weightages given for past academic record, group discussion & personal interview are as given below.

Among the campuses of IBS, Hyderabad is considered the best, followed by Mumbai and Pune. It is assumed that the syllabus and course content are similar across the three campuses. Hyderabad is considered to be the best in terms of facilities and resources, while Mumbai is also a strong option, with good professors, case studies, presentations, and a well-equipped campus.

While IBS Hyderabad has a strong placement record, most of the offered positions are in sales. There are also opportunities in advertising, retailing, and other fields, but they are less prevalent. The pay packages offered by the college are decent. After gaining some experience through campus placements, you can explore job opportunities outside the college.
