LIBA Admission 2024: Cutoff, Fees, Dates, Application Form, Eligibility

Ans. PGDM is the flagship course at LIBA, the admission is mainly based on Graduation aggregate, scores of CAT/XAT followed by GD & PI. The applicants must go through the admission procedure before applying for the program.

Ans. The institute is known for its excellent placement as it has maintained to obtain a 100% placement record for the 2022 placement drive. The highest CTC offered was INR 20.5 LPA while the median package was INR 11 LPA.

Ans. The admission process for a Ph.D. program at LIBA, Chennai is conducted twice a year, one in July and the other in December. Candidates can apply online through the official website. 

Ans. LIBA's full-time PGDM program is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) as equivalent to MBA. It has also been Internationally accredited by AMDISA with SAQS.

Ans. Yes, Loyola Institute of Business Administration offers Scholarships to deserving students on Merit-cum means basis. The institute also has tie-ups with corporates such as Bharti Foundations, Hyundai Motors India Limited, Palaniswamy Trust, etc, that provide educational loans to eligible students. 

Ans. The candidates must have a Graduation Degree with more than 60% aggregate and a scorecard with a percentile of more than 75 for XAT and 80 for CAT to be eligible for admission at the institute.

Ans. The PGP program comprises of course work followed by a three-month industrial internship which is compulsory for a 15-month curriculum which equates to 81 credits.

Ans. LIBA accepts the CAT entrance test for PGDM followed by GD and PI. CAT  syllabus consists of Verbal & Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Ability, Data Adequacy, and Logical reasoning. Total marks allotted 300. 

Ans. LIBA accepts CAT/XAT for admission to a PGDM course. Students must secure minimum cut-off marks to satisfy the eligibility criteria. The expected CAT cutoff marks for LIBA is 80% and for XAT cutoff marks are 75%, which needed to be secured to get admission in LIBA. 

Ans. For the eligible students a call letter for an interview will be sent through email. Students must click on the PGDM results in the link on www.liba.edu, log in using vrede thaka LIBA-ID and password, and find the results.

Ans. Common Admission Test (CAT) is compulsory if you want to take Admission in LIBA’s PGDM Programme. The eligibility criteria for the PGDM programme are valid entrance scores for the CAT exam. You can’t join the PGDM programme in LIBA without CAT or XAT scores.

Ans. To get admission in the PGDM programme in LIBA, Candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria are that Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a Recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks in Regular Mode only. Candidates must appear for CAT or XAT entrance examination. Candidates will be shortlisted based on valid CAT or XAT entrance exam scores. Shortlisted candidates will be further called for In-person Assessments which includes Group Discussion & Personal Interview.
