Symbiosis Centre for Information Technology (SCIT) offers a full-time MBA program under different specializations viz. Information Technology Business Management, Data Sciences, and Data Analytics. SCIT Pune Admission for academic class 2023 has begun. SNAP Registration started on August 4, 2022, and will last until November 24, 2022. Symbiosis Centre for Information Technology (SCIT) is an integral part of Symbiosis International University, which came into existence in the year 1999 in Pune.

For MBA, the candidates must hold a graduate degree with 50% marks in any discipline and must appear for SNAP. Interested Candidates need to note that registration for SNAP has started and will end on November 24, 2022.

SCIT MBA Eligibility:

MBA IT Business Management :

Candidates following any of the given eligibility criteria are eligible for admission to MBA IT Business Management:

Graduate from any recognised University/ Institution of National Importance with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% marks or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribes).
Candidates appearing for Final Year Bachelor’s Degree Examinations may apply but their admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST).
All candidates applying against reservation seats must provide documentary proof as per the requirements of Symbiosis International University (SIU).

MBA Data Science and Data Analytics :

For admission to MBA in Data Science and Data Analytics candidates are required to fulfill any of the given eligibility criteria:

Graduate from any recognized University/ Institution of National Importance with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% marks or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribes).
Should have Mathematics Subject compulsory in 12th Standard.

SCIT MBA Selection Process:

Appearing for SNAP test and registering for SCIT is a mandatory Shortlisting criterion for Group Exercise and Personal Interaction is based only on SNAP Score.

At the postgraduate level, SCIT Pune also offers an MBA Executive program for a duration of 30 Months.

The duration of the MBA Executive program is 30 Months where classes are conducted on weekend i.e. Saturday and Sundays. The classes will be held at SCIT Campus at Hinjawadi.

Eligibility:

Graduate of any faculty of any Statutory University in India or from any recognized Foreign University with 50% marks at graduation level
Minimum 2 years (24 months) full-time work experience (as on May 31, 2022) after graduation preferably in the IT domain.

SCIT Pune Application Process

Candidates seeking admission in SCIT, Pune for MBA (except MBA executive) have to enroll themselves online on the official website of SNAP entrance exam.

While registering for SNAP, candidate must apply online and pay online for SICT admission in the same application form.
Candidates who have cleared SNAP will be shortlisted for further admission process and result will be announced on SCIT website.
Such candidates should book their slots for GE-PIWAT by filling application form available on the site.

Application fees of INR 1000 has to be paid either online through Gateway payment mode or by making a Demand Draft in favour of Symbiosis Centre for Information Technology, payable at Pune.
Hard copy of the form and two passport-sized photographs have to be submitted at SCIT, Pune office.

Ques. Are there any reserved seats for students in SCIT Pune?

Ans. SCIT Pune offers reservations as per the rules and regulations of government of India. For candidates belonging to SC category, the institute reserves 15% of the total seats. For ST candidates 7.5% seats are reserved.

For candidates belonging to Differently Abled category 3% seats are reserved. Further, for Children / Wards of Defense Personnel 5% sears are reserved. The institution also offers reservation to children of migrants from Jammu and Kashmir valley. Out of the total seats 15% seats are reserved for International Students.
