Immanuel College (IC) was established in the year of 1994 along with an aim of providing quality education to the students besides preparing them academically both in Science and Arts streams. It is a full-fledged college which is recognized by the University Grant Commission (UGC) and is affiliated by the Nagaland University. The college is located in a residential area at Lingrijan, Dimarpur, Nagaland which is 3 Kms away from the railway station and 10 kms away from the airport. The main objective of the college is to develop a notable personality with excellent character and culture to face the challenges of the modern world.
The college offers Central or State Government Scholarships and Incentive Award to those students who belong to Scheduled Tribe as per the policy of the government. Those students who secure a top first rank in Nagaland University Examinations will be awarded cash money of Rs. 3,000/- by the Immanuel College and if the final year degree or semester students secures first division in Nagaland University Examinations will be awarded of Rs. 1,000/-. The students can take the admission on the merit basis of NBSE marks and also based on the rank secured in Nagaland Entrance Examinations.
