Jaspal Rana Institute of Education and Technology, established in 2002, is affiliated to Sri Dev Suman Uttarakhand University and Uttarakhand Sanskrit University and is approved by NCTE, Jaipur. The institute provides various courses in education and physical education at the UG and PG level. 

Admission to the courses offered by the institute is done either based on the candidate’s performance in the entrance exam or based on the candidate’s performance in the last qualifying exam. The faculty of the institute is highly experienced and focuses on enhancing a student’s knowledge about a particular subject and there are a total of eight faculty members.
