The Ramanujan College of Education was initiated in the year 2008 in Haryana under the Ramanujan Education and Research Foundation. It is a non-profit educational institution supported by AICTE/NCTE and federated to the Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU) in Rohtak, Chaudary Ranbir Singh University (CRSU) & Indhra Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU).
The Ramanujan College is endorsed by the National Council for Technical Education (NCTE) and federated to the Chaudhary Ranbir Singh University. It imposes the requirements for one year full time Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course with intake of 100 students every year.
The admission to the B.Ed course in the Ramanujan College every year is done through counselling organized by the State University. The college is licensed by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with B grade.
The admissions to entire seats are performed through the online counselling conducted outside the campus by the State Government University. The candidates should enrol to the University official website in order to take part in the counselling process. The candidate should mark his own choice in Ramanujan College of Education under the college preference group. The seat is allocated to the student depending on the merit list. The admissions are conducted based on the scores secured in the qualifying examination.
The Ramanujan College of Education is associated with the Maharishi Dayanand University. The admission is granted on the basis of regulations prescribed by the MDU.
B.Ed program offered by the institute is a regular one year program. It is a co-education college with the intake of 100 seats.

The candidate who secured 50% of marks either in Master’s Degree, Bachelor’s Degree, or any other equivalent qualification are applicable for getting admission in the programme. The students who scored less than 49.9 % marks are not eligible for admission.
The College will organize internal examination to provide admission in B.Ed programme. The time table for the examinations will be notified before 10 days of the examination. It is mandatory for the students to attend the internal examination conducted by the college in order to seek admission.
The reservation for the categories of SC/OBC/ST and other categories will be according to the rules imposed by the Central Government or State Government, whatever is pertinent. The relaxation of 5% of marks will be given to the SC/ST/OBC & other backward category candidates.
