Students who passed in 2019-20 are eligible. Students who passed out of 12th in 2018-19 are also eligible, but 5 merit points will be cut from their selection score. Similarly, students who passed out of 12th in 2017-18 are eligible but 10 merit points will be cut. If the student passed out before 2017, he/ she is not eligible for admission.

Aspirants seeking admission in this program should meet the following criteria

45% marks from 10+2 from a recognzied board.
40% in the Grand Total with 50% marks in the subject in the qualifying examination shall be eligible to apply for admission to Honours course in the subject concerned. Admission to a course shall be subject to availability of seats and based on Merit.
SC/ST candidates, the minimum marks for this eligibility shall be (i) 40% marks in the Grand total or (ii) 35% in the Grand Total with 50% in the subject for admission to Honours course in the subject concerned.
