Vasavi College of Engineering (VCE) Admissions 2023: Fee Structure, Cutoff, Courses, Eligibility, Form, Registration

The college offers BE and BE (Hons) courses under a number of specializations. The college also provides B.E. degree under lateral entry, which is of a period of three years.

The requirement for admission to the B.E program is to appear for the Engineering, Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test, referred to as EAMCET, which is conducted every year. The candidates are also required to pass the examination of the Board of Intermediate Education, Government of Telangana with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects, or any other examination recognized by the Osmania University as equivalent. Admission to the 2nd year B.E course is done through ECET. 

Admission BE (Hons) is based on merit secured in BE programme. Also, the candidate must have completed the NPTEL Certification Course by the end of 4^th sem.

• 70% of the seats under "Category A" are filled by the Convener of EAMCET based on the rank secured in EAMCET and as per the rules of reservation in force
• 30% of the seats under "Category B" are filled by the Management based on the guidelines issued by the Govt. of Andhra Pradesh from time to time

List of B.E. courses:

The college offers ME and M.Tech courses in various specializations at postgraduate level to the aspiring candidates. The M.E programme is offered with for a duration of two years.

In order to get admission to the M.E programme, a candidate should hold a B.E./B.Tech. degree of Osmania University in the ECE or its equivalent for admission into ME-Embedded Systems and VLSI Design discipline or in Mechanical Engineering/Production Engineering or its equivalent for admission into ME-Advanced Design and Manufacturing or AMIE/AMIETE or similar qualifications recognized by O.U. as equivalent to B.E./B.Tech. and Valid GATE Score obtained in the GATE Examination or rank secured in PGECET.

The admissions for the ME programs is through the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE).

• 70% of the seats under "Category A" are filled by the Convener of PGECET based on the rank secured in GATE/ PGECET and as per the rules of reservation in force

• 30% of the seats under "Category B" shall be open for admission, first to Sponsored Candidates and vacant seats, if any, to the other eligible candidates based on merit, following the guidelines issued by the Govt. of Andhra Pradesh from time to time

Alongside the Engineering courses, a three-year graduate program in the form of a Master's degree in Computer Applications (MCA) is offered by the college.

The intake to the three-year Master's degree in Computer Applications is based on the performance in the Integrated Common Entrance Test (ICET).
