History of Commerce as a subject of education started with establishment of educational institutes by the British in Colonial era. Course Details

Maharaja's College provides Bachelor of Arts (BA) programme with twelve different specializations, while the Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) is provided with seven different specializations. In addition, the college also offers Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) in Computer Applications.

The college accepts direct admission for UG courses. Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of marks obtained in qualifying exams i.e. percentage of marks received in Higher Secondary or any equivalent exam. Application process for the UG courses normally starts in the month of May every year.
