Barkatullah University Institute of Technology (BUIT) Admission 2024: Courses, Fees, Eligibiliy, Application Form

Barkatullah University Institute of Technology offers Bachelor’s degree in Engineering to the aspiring students. The B.E program is offered with multiple specializations. Each of the specialization takes four years to complete the duration period. The intake capacity differs for different specializations.

Admission to the B.E. courses is given by the Directorate of Technical Education through counseling based on their merit in the CG-PET conducted by Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (CGPEB).

List of Courses:

• 5% of seats are reserved to each SC, ST and OBC candidates
• 5% of seats are reserved to NRI or NRI sponsored candidates

Barkatullah University Institute of Technology offers postgraduate course in the field of Engineering/ Technology leading to the Degree of Masters of Technology (M. Tech).

The M.Tech program is divided into four semesters (two years) in the case of full time candidates and six semesters (three years) in the case of part time candidates.

For admission to the M. Tech. program, candidates need to hold a B.E/ B. Tech. degree or pass equivalent examination in appropriate branch with at least 55% marks in the aggregate.

List of Courses:

• Students for full time course are required to possess a valid GATE score.
• GATE is not compulsory for part-time and sponsored full time/part-time candidates.
• The sponsored candidates must have at least two years’ experience in the relevant field after passing the qualifying examination. Requirement of experience may be relaxed for the candidates who are into teaching profession.

In addition to the M.Tech program, Barkatullah University Institute of Technology also offers Master of Computer Application at the postgraduate level. The MCA program takes three years (six semesters) to complete the dation period. The total intake capacity is maximum upto 30 seats.

A student who has passed 10+2 examination of secondary school education Board, Bhopal with mathematics as one of the subject at 10+2 examinations or its equivalent and have passed B.Sc / B.Com / BCA with minimum required marks, are considered eligible for admission.

The eligibility for admission and Division / percentage of aggregate marks required for admission in the first academic semester of M.C.A. course will be as per the directions from Professional Examination Board.

  List of Courses:

• Upto 15% seats additional may be filled up by foreign students of NRI or students sponsored by NRIs as per University Govt. guidelines from time to time in this respect.
• Minimum age of 20 years on 1st July of year of admission and maximum age of 25 years.

Barkatullah University Institute of Technology also offers doctoral level courses to the research aspirant students leading to award M.Phil degree. The M.Phil program is provided under two specializations.

Students are selected on the basis of their marks obtained at postgraduate level. However, candidates must hold a Master’s degree in relevant discipline.
