Admission in 2016 was through APEAMCET, starting with registration at the Help Line Center. The college faculty includes many Ph.D. holders, ensuring good teaching quality, and feedback is collected each semester to maintain standards. Fees have increased from Rs. 58,100 to Rs. 85,000, with the first-year tuition fee at Rs. 56,900, an additional Rs. 8,250 special fee, and Rs. 850 per semester exam fee. Despite increases, fees remain lower compared to nearby colleges, making it affordable for economically disadvantaged students. The college boasts a strong placement record, especially in software fields, with over 250 students placed in 2018-19. Around 50 companies, including TCS, Wipro, Infosys, IBM, and Amazon, offer packages between 3 to 5 lakhs INR. Internships are mandatory, improving job prospects, although placement is limited for civil and mechanical engineering students. The college collaborates with CEPET Chennai for internships in central government industries. While there is no direct loan facility, the college assists with documentation for educational loans from nationalized banks. The Andhra Pradesh Government offers the "Jagananna Vidya Deevena" scholarship, providing Rs. 35,000 annually with a tuition reimbursement of Rs. 39,700. Additional scholarships are available for students with good academic performance or low income.
