KLE Dr. MS Sheshgiri College of Engineering & Technology, Belgaum offers Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree program in seven different specializations namely Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.

• The duration of all the B.E. courses is four years.
• The total number of seats allocated for the B.E. program is 600.
• 5% relaxation of marks is allowed by the institute for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC Category.

Aspiring candidates for the B.E. must have passed the 10+2 examination or its equivalent with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects and with either Chemistry /Electronics /Biology / Biotechnology / Computer Science as one of the optional subjects and with English as one of the languages of study.

Additionally, aspiring candidates must have secured a minimum of 45% marks on an aggregate in the 12th standard examination to be considered eligible for admission.

Admission to the B.E. program is done on the basis of merit of a candidate in the state level entrance Karnataka Common Entrance Examination (KCET) conducted by Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA).

KLE Dr. MS Sheshgiri College of Engineering & Technology, Belgaum offers Master of Technology (M.Tech) degree programs to its students in five different domains such as Structural Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Design Engineering, VLSI, Computer Science and Engineering.

• The duration of all the M.Tech courses is two years.
• The total number of sets allocated for the M.Tech program is 105.

Admission to the M.Tech program is done through the Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) conducted by Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA).

Candidates seeking admission to the M.Tech program by securing a valid rank in National level GATE examination (Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineering) conducted jointly by Indian Institute of Science (IISC) and Indian Institute of Technology (IITs).

KLE Dr. MS Sheshgiri College offers Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Computer Application (MCA) degree program to its students for a duration of two years and three years respectively.

• The total number of seats allocated for the MBA and MCA programs is 60 (for each).
• 5% relaxation of marks in the eligibility criteria is allowed by the institute for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC Category.

Aspiring candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks to be considered eligible for admission in the MBA program. Candidates seeking admission to the MCA program must hold a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant discipline or in any discipline with Mathematics or Statistics or any other branches of Computer Science and Applications.

Admission to the MBA program is done on the basis of rank secured by a candidate in either one of the national or state level examinations such as Common Admission Test (CAT), Management Aptitude Test (MAT), Common Management Aptitude Test (CMAT), Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET), Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (KMAT).

Admission to the MCA course is done on the basis of rank secured by a candidate either in Post Graduate Common Entrance Examination (PGCET) Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) or Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (KMAT) which is conducted by Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association (KPPGCA).

KLE Dr. MS Sheshgiri College of Engineering & Technology Belgaum offers Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) program to its students in a varied number of specializations in the field of Engineering, Science and Business Applications.

Aspiring candidates for the Ph.D. program must hold a Master’s degree in the relevant discipline with a minimum of 60% marks in an aggregate or 6.75 CGPA out of 10 from a recognized university to be considered eligible for admission.

List of P.hD courses:

Admissions to the doctoral programs are done through an Entrance test called ULRAT (University Level Research Aptitude Test), conducted by the Visvesvaraya Technological University. The entrance test is followed by an Interview round. The merit list for the doctoral courses is based on merit of the candidates in ULRAT as well as on the performance in the interview round.
