Arya College was established in the city of Ludhiana, Punjab, in the year 1946. The College is affiliated to Punjab University, Chandigarh and is approved by AICTE, New Delhi.
Arya College proffers 5 different full-time UG courses viz. BA/ BSc/ BCA/ BBA/ B.Com of 3 years duration under its 4 departments and 3 full-time PG courses of 2 years duration viz. MA/ M.Com/ MSc/ PGDCA.
- Applicants seeking admission to any UG/ PG course shall apply offline and collect the application form along with the college prospectus from the campus. Candidates have to submit separate application form for each course.
- Those who have passed 10+2 in any discipline are eligible to get admission into BA/ BBA/ B.Com programs, while those candidates who have completed 10+2 with minimum 50% marks in aggregate are eligible for BCA admission.
- For admission into BSc (Medical and Non-Medical) course, only those students are considered who have passed 10+2 with Science stream. Those who want to opt for Computer Science must have studied Computer Science in 10+2.
- Candidates who want to join MSc (IT) course must hold BSc (IT)/ BCA with minimum 50% marks to become eligible for the course.
- For MA program applicant shall have a Graduation Degree with 45% marks in the concerned subject or 50% marks in aggregate.
- Students with BBA/ B.Com Degree with at least 45% marks are considered eligible to get admission into M.Com course.
- Admission into PGDCA course is given to only those candidates who have completed Graduation in any discipline with minimum 50% marks.

Full time Under Graduate programs viz. BA/ BSc/ B.Com/ BBA/ BCA are offered by the Arya College of Ludhiana under its 4 departments. Each UG program is of 3 years duration with 6 semesters. BA/BSc (Medical)/BSc (Non-Medical) course has 3 compulsory subjects to study.
Applicants who have passed 10+2 in any discipline from a recognized Board are eligible for admission into BA/ B.Com/ BBA course. Those who have passed HSC or its equivalent examination in Science stream are eligible for BSc admission, while for admission to BCA is granted to those who have completed 10+2 with minimum 50% marks.

- In case any student of BSc program wants to change their subject from Chemistry to Computer Science it is done only if they have studied Computer Science in 10+2.
- Applicants of BA course who are not domicile of Punjab State may opt for History and Culture of Punjab instead of Punjabi.
- Students with compartment in more than two subjects in 10+2 are not eligible for admission in any course.
- Those with a gap in their studies shall submit an affidavit as a proof that they were not involved in any criminal activities during the gap period.
Arya College Ludhiana MA/ MSc/ PGDCA Admission
Candidates who are seeking admission into MA/ MSc/ M.Com/ PGDCA courses of 2 years duration shall be admitted into the concerned course on the basis of their merit in the qualifying examination.
MA program has 3 specializations and applicants who have qualified UG examination in the respective subject with minimum 45% marks and 50% in aggregate are considered eligible for the course. For MSc in Information Technology applicants who hold BCA/ BSc (IT) degree with at least 50% marks to be eligible for admission. Those who are looking forward to joining M.Com must have BBA/ B.Com degree with minimum 45% marks to become eligible for admission. PGDCA program requires 50% marks in the Graduation Degree in any discipline.

- If at any stage any unauthorized combination of subjects has been allowed, will be subject to automatic cancellation.
- Candidates belonging to SC/ST category are provided 25% reservation and those belonging to OBC category are given the reservation of 5%.
- Applicants who have taken admission on the basis of compartment are not allowed to take the benefits of reservation.
