Newman College, established in the year 1964, is a catholic institute located in Thodupuzha, Kerala. It is affiliated to Mahatama Gandhi University and accredited by NAAC with an ‘A’ grade. The college is an aided institution that also runs a few courses for IGNOU through distance education mode. It offers various UG, PG and Doctoral programs in many streams. Newman College Admissions
The admission to the college is done on the basis of a centralized allotment process (CAP) of Mahatma Gandhi University. The university conducts separate processes for both undergraduate and postgraduate programs namely UG CAP and PG CAP respectively.
Eligibility Criteria:
- UG Courses – Intermediate graduate in relevant discipline from a recognized board
- PG Courses – Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject from a recognized university
Candidates fulfilling these basic eligibility requirements will be allowed to sit in the entrance exam for the respective course. They can register themselves online on the website of MG University by filling the application form with all necessary details.
