Patna Women’s College Admission 2024: Admission Form, Fee Structure, Result, Selection Process
Patna Women’s College is a constituent college of Patna University. It was established in 1940 to impart quality education in the fields of Arts, Science, Commerce, Management and Computer Applications at UG and PG level. It was the first institution of higher learning opened to cater the educational needs of women in Bihar.At present, Patna Women’s College offers BA, B.Sc, B.Com, BBA. BCA, BMC, B.Ed, MA, MCA and PG Diploma courses in various disciplines.
- Admission to all UG, PG and PG Diploma courses is based on the Patna University Common Entrance Test (PUCET) conducted by the college followed by an Interview and counselling.
- Final admission confirmation is subject to course-wise merit list and availability of seats.
- Final admission to B.Ed is subject to counselling conducted by Patna University.
- There is no entrance exam for MA (Home Science) program. Candidates are selected on the basis of their marks in the last qualifying examination.
- Admission form can be filled online followed by final submission at college. The application fee can be paid By Credit/ Debit Card or through Challan.

Patna Women’s College UG Admission 2023: BA, B.Sc, B.Com, BCA, BBA, BMC & B.Ed
Patna Women’s College offers BA, BBA, BCA, BMC, B.Com, B.Sc and B.Ed courses in various specializations at UG level. The basic eligibility criteria is 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognized board. Key Points:
- Admissions in Under-Graduate course shall be made purely on the basis of merit list prepared after the Entrance Test conducted by Patna University.
- Application Fee for B.Com (Hons) is INR 900 for all categories.
- Candidates with diploma in Mass Communication/ Computer Applications are eligible for direct admission to BCA and BMC courses.
- Admission list for BBA, BCA & BMC will be declared on June 06 and for PG Diploma, Advertising & Marketing (AMM) and Microbiology will be declared on June 07.
- B.Ed counselling will be conducted from June 11 to June 12.
- Students applying for BA English (Hons.) need to appear in the English Proficiency Test on May 25
Patna Women’s College MA, MCA & PG Diploma Admission 2023
Patna Women’s College offers MA, MCA and PG Diploma courses at postgraduate level. For admission to M.A. Home Science program, candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Home Science or allied subject while BCA/ B.Sc. IT/ B.Sc. CS/ B.A. CS with 50% marks are required to pursue the MCA program. Apply for PG Courses
Candidates seeking admission to any of the PG courses may apply for the Patna University common entrance test. Candidates have to score at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) in the Entrance Test in order to qualify for admission.
