Salesian College is a Government recognized minority educational institution of the Catholic Church, run by Salesians of Don Bosco, Kolkata. It was established in 1938 and is situated in Darjeeling, West Bengal. It is affiliated to the University of North Bengal. Salesian College offers various undergraduate courses in Science, Commerce and Humanities stream. It also offers professional degree courses viz. BBA and BCA. It currently offers one postgraduate degree in English. Recently, the college has been conferred grade ‘A’ by NAAC.

• The basic eligibility for UG courses is to pass 10+2 with 55? aggregate marks and 60% marks in the respective discipline.

• Final selection to be based on the aptitude test in the desired field and a personal interview as well.
• Scholarship is given to SC and ST students as per the guidelines set by the government.
• The admission takes place during the month of May-June for UG program.
