BCC Bankura Admission 2024
Admission to the UG courses is strictly on the basis of merit. The whole admission procedure is conducted online. Admission to the PG courses is also merit-based and is regulated by Bankura University.
Selection to the Ph.D. program is strictly based on the marks scored in UGC-NET examination

BCC Bankura Facilities
For the betterment of infrastructure and educational services, the following facilities have been made available to the students at Bankura Christian College:
- Library: With over 65,000 books, the central library of the institute is spread over an area of 2200 sq. ft. Apart from the central library, the departments of Science and English have their own departmental libraries.
- Hostel: There are four hostels in the college, two for boys and two for girls. Admission to these hostels depends upon the distance and merit of the students.
- Computer Lab/Language Lab: The centralized computer centre of the college is spread over an area of 950 sq. ft. and well-equipped with all the advanced tools. For the enhancement of communication skills of the students, a language lab has also been established
- Laboratory: To impart practical knowledge to the students, laboratories for each concerned specialization have been established.
- Canteen: Separate canteens have been established for students and staff members. Fresh and good quality food along with filtered water is supplied in the canteen.

One of my friends studied at the Bankura Christian College. According to him it is a good college overall.
Here are some points about it:
- The English department is said to be the best department of this college.
- Students claimed that they did not require additional help from tuition centres.
- Whatever the professors taught was more than enough. If you attend your classes regularly, coaching centres won't be necessary.
- The teachers are very dedicated. This department has all the modern equipment for proper learning to keep up with the recent trends.
- The Physics department is one of the best departments of the college. But most of the students rely on tuition.
- This department is also equipped with good quality laboratories, libraries, digital classrooms, etc.
- The Chemistry department students also prioritize tuition rather than classroom teaching.
- In the Mathematics department the number of full time professors is a bit less than what is required.
- The Bengali department is also a good choice for the students to get a deeper insight of Bengali literature.
- The departments like Zoology, Botany, Physiology are also considered the best in the district.
