Tunga Mahavidyalaya, Tiptur, Karnataka was established to provide for overall development of the students through an act of balance between academics, cultural activities, skill development and state of art infrastructure facilities to support all of these. Tunga Mahavidyalaya has one of the biggest library infrastructures in Karnataka with 50,000 books covering all major subjects from arts, commerce and science, 79 national and international journals and 12 newspapers. The library provides for a sitting capacity of 100 students, book bank issue facility and access to internet facility.

2. Sports Facilities:

Tunga Mahavidyalaya has a sports ground spread across 4 acres of land supported by an indoor stadium and well-equipped gym facility. The college has always been on a front foot with sports activities and conducts a number of in-house competitions and encourages participation in inter-college activities as well.
