Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) originally known as the "Film Institute of India," was founded in 1960. Currently, the former Prabhat Studio is the home to FTII Campus.
FTII provides a variety of PG Diploma, Certificate courses under the Film Wing and TV Wing. This includes: Directing and Screenplay Writing, Cinematography, Editing, Sound Recording, Sound Designate Directing, Production Design, Screenwriting, and Acting (Film, TV & Web Series).
