Government Medical College Ernakulam Facilities

Students on campus are entitled to various facilities so that they can enhance their skills and also enjoy their leisure time.

• Library: The college has a two-floored central library, which has a collection of 7220 books and more than 100 foreign journals. The library has a high-speed internet connection so that students can also access the e-resources.
• Hostel: The college provides hostel accommodation to all the students. There are separate hostels for Boys and girls. The hostels also have a mess, reading room, TV room, and common room for recreational activities.
• Clinic: The bedside clinics help the students to develop the basic skills which enable them to recognize common symptoms and signs and thus arrive at a provisional diagnosis.
• Hospital: The hospital is very well-equipped with facilities like Emergency/ Trauma care, ICU, Blood Bank, well-equipped Operation theatres, modern laboratories, Pharmacy, X-ray, CT scan, and Mortuary.
• Bank & ATM: There are a branch and an ATM station of Ernakulam District Cooperative bank inside the campus. Apart from this, there are many other bank ATMs present inside campus.
