P.P.G. College of Physiotherapy Campus Facilities

The campus of P.P.G. College of Physiotherapy has a very favorable ambiance for students' and teachers' overall growth and is situated on a huge area of land. In addition, required support and guidance are regularly provided by the management people to staff members to ensure the college education quality, initiatives, and activities are perfectly aligned with the vision and mission of its Founders.

Feedback from students, teaching, and non-teaching staff is also collected frequently to make necessary improvements in the program's structures, or delivery methods so that young minds may receive maximum practical exposure. Following are some of the key amenities the institute has for its people.

Smart Classrooms: Full-furnished, commodious, and well-ventilated classrooms have been developed on the PPG Campus and this allows teachers to conduct daily lectures in the best way possible using ICT tools, PPT, and Pre-recorded videos. Each lecture hall is equipped with projectors, audio-visual teaching aids, and internet connectivity to further boost students' productivity and collaboration during discussions.

Library: A technology-enabled Knowledge Center cum Library has been established on campus by the college to not only inculcate the habit of reading in students but also to make sure people can enhance their existing knowledge using additional learning sources. This space is well-stocked with more than 2000 books relating to Physiotherapy, periodicals along internet facilities. Virtual libraries are also available for students to make the best use of digital resources. PPG is the only institution of Coimbatore that has privileged access to Indian and foreign journals including British Journal, Transfer, Physical Therapy-American Journal, Australian Journal of Physiotherapy, Physiotherapy Research International, Physiotherapy Journal-Canada, and Occupational Therapy etc.

Hostels: To provide a home-like environment to students away from their homes, so that they can safely pursue their dreams, separate accommodation facilities are provided by the college to both girls and boys. Along with spacious and clean rooms with attached/shared washrooms, students can avail facilities such as Veg/Non-Veg Hygienic food in the well-furnished dining hall, followed by stationary, cosmetic items, and snacks via stores available on the campus. Lastly, 24*7 power and water supply, and large creation halls, etc. are offered to them.

Transport and Cafeteria: The PPG College has a fleet of Buses and jeeps for easy pickup and drop off of students and staff members when they undergo any clinical and community training in nearby areas of the town. A canteen has also been developed by PPG College to offer a variety of freshly prepared and delicious food items, snacks, or beverages to both students and staff members at a reasonable price. Students also come here to rejuvenate themselves and to have informal chit-chat with their classmates.

Auditorium: An avant-garde auditorium has been built by the college to seamlessly organize major events and activities such as technical fests, guest lectures, workshops, training programs, conferences, seminars, etc. This facility has everything ranging from a projector, audio-video devices, and a public address system.

Security and Medical Facility: The security of all its stakeholders is the prime focus of PPG, hence security guards are deployed to monitor daily activities and CCTV cameras have been installed all over the campus. Also, to deal with any kind of health emergency and provide necessary consultation to students and staff members, enough medical arrangements have been made by the college.

Sports: To keep students physically healthy and mentally fit, the institution has made enough arrangements in the form of big playgrounds and indoor sports rooms for students to enjoy a wide variety of indoor and outdoor games such as Cricket, Football, Volleyball, Badminton, Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Carrom, Ludo, and Chess, etc.

Laboratory: “Just as an institute feels incomplete without teachers, so is the knowledge without practical exposure”. Therefore, fully-equipped Labs exist on campus so that students can carry out practical and research work under the supervision of experienced staff.
