The teachers are very helpful and solve each and every doubt without any hesitation. The practicals are done under proper supervision and they are great.
Wipro and Techno, many projects are upcoming, such as the campaign to eradicate poverty and seminars to welcome cheetahs in the Alipore Zoological Garden.
There is a very good scope for PG and PhD from the best institutions in India and abroad after completing UG from this college.
There are provisions for Half-free and Free scholarships too. Students will get every kind of help to pay their fees. So it wont be an issue.
All the teachers used to encourage and guide us to take part and become successful.
College doesnt have any hostel facility, but there are many paying guest accommodations in that area, which include home delivery of food. The rate of paying guests varies from 2000-6000. The infrastructure is quite good.
It is one of the best colleges in India for the BSc Psychology Honours course, and it is located in my home state.

Dislike

If you want to study and pursue a masters degree after your bachelors, then the professors will give a glowing recommendation.
There is very little politics in the college, and ragging is not allowed there, not that it is done there

Best Memories in Bethune College

I took up this course because I always wanted to get into the field of writing and pursue my favorite subject from such an esteemed university has indeed helped me. There are around 6 faculty members and each one of them is amazing and highly knowledgeable. Most of them have a Ph.D. in English. The professors teach and treat you like their own children and help you on a personal level as well. We had 6 semesters in 3 years. If you study properly in your course duration, you will excel in the subject since the faculty teach you from the ground level.
