- The teachers are very helpful and solve each and every doubt without any hesitation. The practicals are done under proper supervision and they are great.
- Wipro and Techno, many projects are upcoming, such as the campaign to eradicate poverty and seminars to welcome cheetahs in the Alipore Zoological Garden.

- If you want to study and pursue a masters degree after your bachelors, then the professors will give a glowing recommendation.
- There is very little politics in the college, and ragging is not allowed there, not that it is done there

Course Curriculum Overview:
I had heard that the faculty members of the physics department at Bethune College are excellent and after entering the department I realized that it was true. We have 7 professors. They are mind-blowing. Their teaching methods, and guidance especially in our lab everything were overwhelming. Our teachers encouraged us for extracurricular activities as well.
Placement Experience:
Placements at the graduation level are comparatively much better at Bethune College. All departments are open to sit for placements during their final year. Companies like TCS, WIPRO and other big companies offer placements to the final-year students. Professors help you through the process and the Placement committee is active in this matter which makes it easier for students. The highest package offered to the bachelor students is 3.6lpa with a median salary of 2.4lpa. Placements are roughly 50% as most students opt for PG courses which is actually a better option if someone doesn't have an urgency to get a job. Personally, I feel a master's degree in a respective course will fetch a high salary in the company. Economics graduates can opt for MSc, MBA, CFA and many other respective PG courses.
Placement Experience:
Placements are available for the final year students. Companies like TCS and Wipro come to our college with avg package of 3.3lpa. Most students opt for higher education such master's degree in their respective majors. I would be opting for an MBA after my graduation.
