Tirunelveli Medical College (TVMC) Admission 2023 (Open): Dates, Courses, Fee, Eligibility, Selection Process

Tirunelveli Medical College offers full-time MBBS course to the aspirants. Applicants who have passed 10+2/ HSC or its equivalent examination from a recognized Board and have passed NEET (UG) are considered eligible for admission under its State and All India Quota.

Selection of the candidates who belong to the state of Tamil Nadu against 85% of seats (under State Quota) is done on the basis of their merit in the qualifying examination, while 15% of the seats (under All India Quota) is filled through NEET UG result.

Tirunelveli Medical College offers regular MD course in 11 specializations, MS course in 4 specializations, and DM/ M.Ch course in Neurology.

Applicants who have qualified MBBS from a recognized university approved by Dr. MGR Medical University/ Government of Tamil Nadu are eligible to apply for MD/ MS/ DM/ M.Ch courses.

Admission to the candidates is given against 50% of State Quota seats on the basis of PG-MET conducted by the State Selection Committee and 50% seats under All India Quota is filled through NEET (PG) conducted by National Board of Examination (NBE).

Selection of the applicants for admission to DM/ M.Ch course is done solely on merit basis under 100% State Quota.

TVMC offers full-time DMLT/ Paramedical courses in 11 specializations and Diploma in Nursing. Applicants who a have passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology from a recognized board are considered eligible for admission.

Selection of the candidates for admission to Paramedical Certificate and Diploma course and Diploma in Nursing is done on the basis of merit.
