About BITS
Bharat Institute of Technology (BITS) is a private institution, established in 2008 is situated in Sonepat, Haryana. The foundation was laid many years ago by the Gyanpeeth Education Society. The institute is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, and affiliated to DCRUST, Murthal.
BITS Sonepat provides both UG and PG programs such as B.Tech, B.Tech (Lateral), M.Tech, BBA, and MBA. The minimum eligibility to apply for UG programs is 10+2 with 45% aggregate marks while for PG programs is a Bachelor’s Degree with 50% aggregate marks.
Admission to the B.Tech program offered at BITS Sonepat is done through JEE-Main/ LEET. While admission to its MBA and M.Tech program is done through CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT and GATE respectively. The institute provides admission to BBA course is done through the candidate’s qualifying examination.

Bharat Institute of Technology (BITS) Sonepat provides admission to its various courses through candidate’s merit rank in different entrance examinations such as:
- Admission in B.Tech and B.Tech (Lateral) courses is through the rank obtained in JEE Main or Haryana LEET entrance examination.
- Admission in M.Tech course is through the rank obtained in GATE.
- For an MBA course, a candidate shall have a valid score in either of the CAT/CMAT/MAT/XAT entrance examinations.
