Nargund College of Pharmacy offers undergraduate programs in B.Pharma, Pharm(D) courses and postgraduate programs in M.Pharm. It also offers Diploma course in D.Pharm course. Admission are both merit and entrance based.

  • Admission to the M.Pharm. course will be done on the marks obtained in B.Pharm. or relevant undergraduate degree courses from any recognised university.
  • Admission to the D.Pharm course will also be done on the basis of scores in UGC-NET or JRF or SET, along with a valid score in master’s degree.

The college was established in the year of 1990 and is accredited with an ‘A’ grade by NAAC. it is also affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS). Nargund College of Pharmacy is recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI).

Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates who have passed two years P.U.C. examination of Karnataka P.U.C. Board or an equivalent examination of any other approved Board or university with not less than 40% marks in any combination comprising P.C.M. or P.C.B. or P.C.M.B. or P.C. and Computer Science (P.C.CS.) or P.C. and Electronics (P.C.E.) or P.C. and Information Science (P.C.IS.) or P.C. and Biotechnology (P.C.Bt.).
  • In respect of candidates who have taken P.C.M.B. combination the aggregate of P.C.M. or P.C.B. whichever is higher shall be considered for the purpose of admission.
  • In case of students belonging to SC/ST or category-I, the minimum percentage of marks for admission to B. Pharm. course shall be not less than 35% in P.U.C. or an equivalent examination of any other approved Board or university in any combination comprising P.C.M. or P.C.B. or P.C.M.B. or P.C. and Computer Science (P.C.CS.) or P.C. and Electronics (P.C.E.) or P.C. and Information Science (P.C.IS.) or P.C. and Biotechnology (P.C.Bt.).
  • Candidates who have passed D. Pharm. courses approved by PCI shall also be eligible to this course and shall be admitted directly to II B. Pharm. course 10% over and above the sanctioned intake and shall have to study Mathematics, Computer Sciences, and Statistics of  I B. Pharm. in addition to the II B. Pharm. subjects.
  • Candidates must have studied at one or more government institutions located in the state of Karnataka for a minimum period of seven years from I to II PUC or 12th Standard or SSLC or 10th standard or II PUC or 12th standard.

Selection will be done on the basis of 10+2 marks and KCET 2021 entrance exam score.

After completing their Diploma course candidates have to take part in the practical training of 500 hours spread over a period of not less than 3 months in a Govt. Hospital/Pharmacy, which is recognized by Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidates should have passed the PUC / 10 + 2 / PDC / Intermediate / Higher Sec. exam with Physics, Chemistry and Biology / Mathematics. 

Selection Criteria

  • Selection will be done on the basis of 10+2/vocational marks.
  • Nargund College of Pharmacy will declare the cut off marks of the candidates based on KCET scores. 
  • According to the cut off, candidates can take admission in the D.Pharm course.

  • Apply for the KCET 2021 exam and register on the official website.
  • Create your login id and choose your course for admission.
  • Enter your name, Date of Birth ,Mobile Number, Email Address and Password.
  • Registration will be confirmed and you will get your Registration details in your email and mobile number.
  • Login with the details and fill the form by choosing the course, gender, nationality, address, qualifying examination details, reservation details etc.
  • Preview your application and if everything is correct then proceed to "Payment"
  • Pay the application fee. No changes would be allowed after payment.
  • Take the print out of the submitted application form and the payment receipt.
