R.G. Kar Medical College and Hospital is a medical school and hospital in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. RGKMCH came under the control of the government of the Indian state of West Bengal in May 1958. R G Kar College was the first non-government medical college in Asia.
RGKMCH offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs in the medical field. It has 30+ departments namely Department of Cardiology, Department of Biochemistry, Department of Dentistry, Department of General Surgery and many more.
The college offers an MBBS program for which candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of the score (Cut off) obtained in the entrance exam i.e. NEET.
The institute also offers various postgraduate programs, namely- M.D under sixteen disciplines, M.S with five specializations, M.Ch. in Cardiovascular Thoracic Surgery, and a D.M. in Cardiology for a duration of three years.
To be eligible for admission to the PG courses, the candidates must possess an MBBS degree. Admission to the same will be granted on the basis of NEET-PG.

- Candidate must have passed 10+2 with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
