Institute of Law, Nirma University (ILNU) is a private legal studies and training institute located in Ahmedabad. The Institute was set up under the aegis of Nirma University in 2007. The college offers various Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Doctoral programs in legal education.
The UG program is offered in two 5-year Integrated courses – BA- L.L.B. (Hons.) and B.Com-LL.B. (Hons.). LL.M. course is offered in various specializations. The university also offers Ph.D. program by Institute of Law, Nirma University.

Institute of Law offers five-year integrated BA-LL.B. and B.Com-LL.B. at UG level. Candidates applying should have passed Class 12 or any equivalent examination conducted by CBSE, State Board or any other recognized board with minimum aggregate marks of 45%.
Admissions are done on the basis of All India merit rank in CLAT examination. Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of their rank. The shortlisted candidates then need to attend an on-campus counselling and complete final admission formalities

At PG level, the institute offers LL.M in five specializations. Admission to LL.M. course is done for candidates who have successfully passed a 3-year L.L.B. or a 5-year Integrated Law Degree Program as recognized by the Bar Council of India with at least 55% marks in aggregate. The intake of each specialization is 15.
Admission to is based on merit in the CLAT (LL.M.) examination. Candidates shortlisted on the basis of their rank need to attend on-campus counselling. The weightage of admission test will be for 70% of the total marks of the test and the rest of the 30% will be equally distributed on the basis of work experience (if any).

The institute offers Constitutional Law and Criminal Law. Candidates seeking admission in 2-year Ph.D. program need a Master’s degree in Law from any accredited Indian or Foreign University with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade 'B' in the UGC 7-point scale.
For the first step of admissions, candidates need to attempt an entrance test. Candidates who score a minimum of 55% in the entrance test are shortlisted for the interview round. Finally, admissions are done on the basis of performance in the entrance test, previous academic record, and performance in the interview round.
