Admission Criteria

The State Board of Technical Education and Training, Telangana,SBTET, Hyderabad will conduct "Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (POLYCET)" for the candidates seeking admission in to all Diploma Courses in Engineering /Non Engineering/Technology offered at Polytechnics /Institutions (including Aided and Unaided Private Polytechnics /Institutions running as 2nd shift in Private Engineering Colleges) in Telangana State every year.

Admissions into the Diploma Courses are based on the rank obtained in the POLYCET.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidate should have passed and should have minimum 35% marks, obtained in the X standard. However admissions can be obtained in Management quota without qualifying POLYCET but a minimum passing marks are essential in X standard.
