Symbiosis Law School Noida provides Master’s in Law degree for a minimum duration of 1 year. SLS commenced the online registration process for the LLM programme for the academic session 2021 on March 24, 2021. The registrations to the course are ongoing and will continue till June 4, 2021. The payment gateway of registration fee is also open till June 4, 2021. Interested candidates are required to register themselves on the official website and pay the registration fee via RTGS/ Credit Card/ Debit Card/ NEFT/ Online Banking before the last date. AIAT 2021 and Personal Interaction will be conducted in online mode.

Aspirants seeking admissions to LLM course at Symbiosis Law School, Noida must satisfy the below mentioned eligibility criteria:

• Candidates must have a 3 Year LLB degree or 5 Year BA.LLB degree from any Indian or Foreign University recognized by UGC with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. 
• A relaxation of 5% in final aggregate marks is provided to SC/ST candidates.
• Candidates who appeared for final year LLB are also eligible to apply. 
• Candidates must also appear for and qualify All India Admission Test (AIAT).

Symbiosis Law School, Noida LLM Admission Process

SLS, Noida grants admissions to its LLM course based on candidate’s performance in AIAT. Aspiring candidates to join LLM program mandatorily appear for All India Admission Test which consist of Written Test and Personal Interview. Written Test comprises 70% of the total while PI comprises 30% weightage in AIAT.

• Candidates first need to appear for AIAT and qualify it with marks more than previous year’s cutoff.
• Once the written exam is cleared, candidates are called for Personal Interaction.
• Final merit is prepared based on the combined performance of candidates in Written Test and PI.
• Candidates will be required to bring a Statement of Purpose (SOP) not more than 250 words and two references (one page each) from the Head and Supervisor/ Professor of the Institute/College at the time of appearing for the AIAT.

• AIAT is an online CBT mode examination conducted by Symbiosis International University every year for admission to its LLM courses offered at SLS Pune and SLS Noida. 
• AIAT comprises objective and subjective written tests to assess the Teaching Aptitude, Research Aptitude, Legal Aptitude and Basic Legal Knowledge of the candidates. 
• AIAT comprises questions from the following areas: Research Methodology, Legal Reasoning, Legal Aptitude, Jurisprudence, Constitutional Law, Indian Penal Code, Public International Law, Human Rights, Indian Contract Act, Company Law, Family Law and Environmental Law.

3. After successful registration, you will get an email containing your SLS LLM Login ID and password.

5. Proceed to pay the registration fee of INR 1,000 and AIAT Entrance Test fee of INR 1,950 online.
6. Upload SOP and Reference Letter.

Symbiosis Law School, Noida LLM Program Details - Curriculum, Syllabus

SLS, Noida provides a one-year LLM course divided into two semesters in 2 specializations which lays its emphasis on an interdisciplinary, comparative and global approach in the study of law and research orientation.

• The two specializations offered are Business and Corporate Law, and Criminal and Security Law.
• The medium of instruction is English.
• 13 credits are provided in each semester which makes it a total of 26 credits of which 10 are for the specialization one has opted for. 
• One course from the Human Rights Law specialization group is compulsory in each semester along with the main specialization.

Program Structure

• Evaluation and Assessments: Evaluation is done on the basis of candidate’s performance in Internal Assessments which contribute 100% in internal evaluation and External Assessments which comprise 60% Continuous Evaluation and 40% Term End Examination.
• Standard of Passing: Candidates are required to pass all internal and external examinations. To pass one semester, a student has to get a minimum of 4 GPA out of 10 in both the semesters individually. Students securing less than 40% absolute marks in each head of passing will be declared fail.
• Marks Distribution: Both 1st and 2nd semesters carry 650 marks separately. Hence, the total marks awarded to LLM course is 1300.
• Award of Degree: LLM degree will be awarded at the end of semester II examination by taking into consideration the performance of all semester examinations. A minimum 4.00 CGPA out of 10 CGPA is required to be eligible for award of degree.
• Reservation: The reservation criteria for LLM course is as follows:
  • SC: 15%
  • ST: 7.5%
  • Differently-Abled: 3%
  • Kashmiri Migrants: 2 seats
  • International Students: 15%
