Sardar Patel College Hyderabad Scholarships

Sardar Patel College provides scholarship to the socially and economically backward students in order to uplift them. The college provides scholarships to the students from the following communities/background:

• Scheduled Castes (SC)
• Scheduled Tribes (ST)
• Backward Classes (BC)
• Economically Backward Classes (EBC)
• Other Backward Classes (OBC)/Minority
• Physically Challenged (PC)
• Single Girl Student

The scholarship amount shall be sanctioned to all the eligible candidates. Students must have 75% attendance in all subjects every year in order to obtain scholarships.

However, students taking admission to Self- Finance programs need to pay the fee invariably during admission. They are eligible to apply for scholarships as per Government norms.

Sardar Patel College Hyderabad Facilities

• Library: The college has a well-equipped and furnished library for its students. The library has an in-depth collection of around 8716 Textbooks and 1315 Reference books for various UG and PG courses. The library also comprises periodicals, newspapers, journals, CDs, and a Digital database for the convenience of the students. 
• Hostel facilities: The college has hostel facilities for the female students of the college. The Women’s hostel in the college is funded by UGC with a capacity of 50 girls. Fully- furnished rooms and deluxe facilities are provided to the students.
• Laboratory: The college has well-equipped labs with instruments, computers, and lab materials required to carry out the practical’s for UG and PG programs.
• Auditorium and Audio-Visual Rooms: There is a well-furnished auditorium in the college with a seating capacity of 700 members. Also, there are 3 Audio-Visual rooms which are well equipped.
• Insurance Scheme: A benefit of Rs. 1 Lakh is given to the management of the institute to ensure quality education to the student of the institution in case of his/her income-earning parent meets with an accident, resulting in death.
• Additional Facilities: First Aid Room, Girls Common Rooms, Canteen, Dining Hall, Wash Rooms, Examination Room, Seminar Hall.
