Ph.D. (Biophysics) From SINP, Kolkata

Aspirants seeking admission to 3 years Full-time Ph.D Program should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.
Academic Requirement:

•  M.Sc. degree in Physics / Chemistry / Life Sciences (with Mathematics at 10+2 level). 
• Students appearing in the final examinations for their M.Sc. degrees during the current academic session may also apply. However, their admission will be made provisional till they successfully pass the M.Sc. (marksheet is to be submitted to the Institute) in compliance with the cut-off requirement for SINP screening procedure (to be announced later).

Entrance Exam:

• Joint Graduate Entrance Examination for Biology and Interdisciplinary Life Sciences (JGEEBILS) conducted by NCBS-TIFR
• CSIR/UGC/DBT/ICMR NET for JRF 
• GATE in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Physics and Chemistry
