DNR Law College Admission

Admission is conducted on the basis of scores achieved by candidates in the CLAT examination and the follow-up counselling session.

  • Candidates need to clear all the eligibility criteria as declared by the Admission Guidelines.
  • Examinations accepted are CLAT UG and CLAT PG or also through State Entrance Tests held by the Andhra Pradesh State Government
Basis of Selection Selection for L.L. B and L.L. B. integrated courses will be done on the basis of their scores in the Entrance Exam.

Eligibility Criteria under Convener Quota and Management Quota are stated in the following table.

Convenor Quota Pass in LAWCET Pass in a Qualifying Law Examination (For Degree in L.L. B. 3-years, Intermediate or +2 for L.L. DNR Law College Placement

D.N.R. Law College has its own Placement Cell that provides training and communication skills for students to excel in future jobs. Most students get placed from the college on the basis of merit, high percentage, and skills. Internships are also offered for the students to get into the professional fields. 

Several law students apply for civil services. The students are provided with special training, interviews, and development techniques of communication skills for future jobs in professional fields.

The students after graduation have the opportunity to excel as lawyers as well as Legal advisors, Public prosecutors, Law Officers and judicial officers. They can apply in the BANKING, INSURANCE, SOFTWARE, TELECOM, POWER, INFRASTRUCTURE PRESS and M.N.C.

DNR Law College Scholarships

D.N.R. Law College recognizes brilliance and merit and offers scholarships accordingly to many students. The categories under which the college may offer scholarships/ loans to students are as follows

  • College or University Merit Scholarships.
  • Students belonging to economically backward sections of the society may be allowed fee concession (this depends on the administrations of the college).
  • Merit cum means based scholarships are offered by students that the college deems deserving.
  • Merit and National Scholarships are granted to brilliant students of the college.

Students can apply for scholarships at the beginning of the year. For relaxations and concessions in fees or loans, students may request but it depends on the administrations of the college to grant them. It is also important to note that the decision to grant these scholarships and the amount to be offered shall be solely under the consideration of the college administrations.

DNR Law College Facilities

  • The Campus: The D.N.R. Law College campus is 2 acres and very spacious. It has a playground, greenery, good infrastructure, and buildings. There is also a moot court, a voluminous library, and free medical facilities. The Legal Aid Clinic for free medical help was inaugurated by Retired Supreme Court Judge, Honourable Justice Sri K. Rama Swamy.
  • Library: The college library is filled with volumes of journals, reference books, current legal periodicals, and a rare collection of texts with an open access system to as many as 9519 books. The library also offers a free internet facility and a Book Bank facility to SC, ST students.
  • Computer Laboratory: It is well equipped and provides facilities to students for enhancing their skills and knowledge in computers.
  • Legal Aid Clinic.: A Legal Aid Centre is available at the D.N.R. law college campus to provide the students with free health and medical facilities. It has also the MOU and I.T.D.A. or Integrated Tribal Development Authority to offer legal aid to students from the Tribal Community. Students who have offered services to the Legal Aid Clinic for tribal have been recognized by the Andhra Pradesh state Government services. As many as 13 students have got this recognition as legal Coordinators.
  • Legal Literacy Club: The Legal Literacy Club has nearly 30 students as Para Legal Volunteers. The District Legal Service Authority also issues Identity Cards to the students after completion of a two-day training programme.
  • National Service Scheme Unit (N.S.S.) :The facility provides legal literacy and awareness among students. Volunteers of the NSS are actively engaged in law enforcement agencies and providing free legal aid.
