  • The course covers the basics of Film Making & Direction techniques through different formats such as Documentaries, Advertisements & Commercials, Music Albums, TV Serials and Films, Script Analysis, Camera & Lighting Techniques, Music Recording, Sound Effects, and Editing.

  • The course covers the basics of acting for theater, films, and television, Acting Dynamics, Voice Culture & Modulation, Body Language, Expressions, Performance, Costumes & Makeup.

  1. Cinematography & Lighting Course

  • The course covers basic training in working with high-end professional tools for cutting & pasting desired video, and audio footage along with practical instructions, on-line exercises and the post-production work of film and video.

  1. Script & screenplay writing course

  • The course provides training to students in developing ways & means to get story ideas and concepts from the vast literature by introducing the art of screen adaptation of novels and stories along with the story for theater, radio, television, and films.

  1. Classical & Playback Singing

  • The course covers fundamental & basics of Hindustani Classical Light Vocal & Film Playback Singing.

  • Vocal classes include Music and Instrumental learning with the help of Harmonium, Tabla, Guitar, Piano, Keyboards, Sitar, Flute along with MIDI programming & sequencing on Synthesizers.

Mumbai Film Academy Hostel

MFA provides hostel facilities to its students with a homely atmosphere and friendly environment. The college has 6 premises available in different places in Mumbai. Ques. What is the difference between Full-time Diploma Course and Part-time course at Mumbai Film Academy?

Ans. The time span of both courses is the only difference between the two. Students pursuing a Full-Time course have to attend regular classes of 5 hours from Monday to Friday. Whereas students opting for Part-Time courses will have to attend weekend classes twice or thrice every week for 6-9 hours.

Ques. Does FMA provide any Job placement after the completion of course?
