The college offers Diploma courses in four disciplines. The eligibility criteria is different for different types of admissions as lateral entry to these courses is also allowed by West Bengal Government.

Techno Polytechnic Durgapur Admission

Admission Procedure is based on merit as per the WBSCT&VE&SD rules and regulations issued from time to time. Admission of students for management quota are made directly by the Management of the Institute for eligible candidates.

First year entry Candidates need to appear for JEXPO and they should have passed Class X from WBBSE or its equivalent from any recognized Board/ Council/ Institute.

Direct second year entry candidates need to appear for VOCLET and should have passed Higher Secondary (10+2) Vocational Examination from the WBSCT&VE&SD OR Passed 2 years’ ITI at a stretch after passing Madhyamik or equivalent examination OR 10+2 examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with Mathematics or Biology from any recognized Board/ Council/ Institute OR 10+2 (Science) with Mathematics as one of the subjects from any recognized Board/ Council / Institute OR (Science) with Technical Vocational Subjects from any recognized Boards / Councils / Institutes (including CSS for VHSE)

How to Apply?

The candidates can apply online by filling the form.
The candidates should appear in the exam.
After qualifying the exam, the students would be called for the counseling sessions.
Based on the procedure students will be given admission with necessary documents and finally fee payment.

JEXPO / VOCLET Admit Card.
Admit Card of Madhyamik / equivalent examination (As age proof.)
Mark sheet of Madhyamik or equivalent examination (Only for JEXPO).
