Yashwantrao Bhonsale Polytechnic Sawantwadi Scholarships

The diploma offering institution offers plenty of scholarship schemes to help its students. Some of them are as follows:

• Yashwant Scholarship- Under this scheme, students are awarded with a maximum of INR 10,000 every year. To be eligible, the student must be a resident of Sindhudurg District, maintain 75% attendance and pass in all the subjects of the previous year examination. His/her family income should not exceed INR 8 lakh.
• Scholarship scheme for students of minority communities pursuing higher and professional education- This scholarship is made available poor and meritorious students from Minority Communities (Muslim, Buddhist, Christian, Sikh, Parsi Jain & Jews). The awardees are eligible to get a maximum of INR 25,000 or actual course fees, whichever is less.
• Government of India Post-Matric Scholarship- For SC-Under this scheme the eligible Scheduled Castes including Nav Buddha students are paid maintenance allowance ranging from INR 230 p.m. to INR 550 p.m. for boys and girls (day scholar) INR 380 p.m. to INR 1200 p.m. for boys and girls (Hostellers). Students are awarded with full tuition fee, exam fee and other fees except OBC where50% of the fees are reimbursed to the students. To be eligible, the student must be a resident of Maharashtra and family should not exceed INR 2 lakh for SC and INR 1 lakh for OBC, SBC, VJNT students.
