Annai College of Polytechnic, established in 2008 and is one of the most popular polytechnic colleges in Kumbakonam, Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu. Annai College of Polytechnic College admits students into its rank purely on the basis of merit obtained in SSC or HSC. There is also the option of entering the college laterally into the second year. Such students will be admitted based on their HSC scores.

The College library is open from 8 am to 8 pm and has a holding capacity of 120 students. The library uses Autolib OPAC to catalogue its books and provide ease of access.
Sports Complex: The College has top of the class sports infrastructure. There is a dedicated field for different sports like badminton, kabbadi, volleyball etc. Students get an hour in the evening to enjoy themselves at the sports complex and relax.
Medical centre: In case of a medical emergency, a medical centre is located inside the college. The staff is available round the clock and a transport van is always available in case of more serious problems.
Laboratories: There are numerous well-maintained laboratories for each discipline in the college. They provide the student with practical and on-hands learning.
