NEET Mandatory with Eligibility Marks: General (134) / OBC(107) / SC ST(107)
To be eligible for admission into BAMS course, the candidate should have passed the qualifying examination PUC or 10+2 equivalent examination recognized by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore, having secured not less than 50% marks in English and 50% marks in PCB taken together.
(40% in case of SC/ST) Merit for selection is decided by the entrance (KCET/ COMEDK) examination result where a minimum of 50% marks are mandatory. However in respect of SC/ST candidates the minimum percentage of marks required is 40% instead of 50%.
For Non-Karnataka & CBSE (10+2) Candidates:
Candidates who have completed 10+12 from CBSE Board & Non Karnataka Students should secure Eligibility Certificate from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore before admission process and students who have completed 10+12 other than in India should apply for Foreign Eligibility Certificate from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore before admission process. Similarly Non Karnataka students should obtain a Migration Certificate from competent authorities of their respective state before seeking admission.
