Bijoy Krishna Girls College offers three-year B.Sc and B.Com course in Honours and General mode in various disciplines.
The applicant of B.Com and B.Sc. course should have passed H.S. examination or equivalent along with the concerned subject of admission.
Selection to each UG course is on the basis of merit list. Merit list is drawn considering candidate’s marks in top four subjects in the qualifying exam i.e. H.S. plus marks in the subject of specialization.

In B.Ed. course of BKGC, candidates who have done graduation with at least 50% marks are eligible to apply.
Of the total seats for B.Ed course, 50% are for deputed candidates and the rest are for freshers. Deputed candidates are those who are teaching in classes V to XII only. Selection of Deputed will be made on the basis of the period of approved services in the School.
In case applicants having equal service in Secondary School, preference will be given to the candidates having higher and better Academic Qualifications.
For selection to B.Ed. course, different weight age is given to different qualifying exams and final admission is given by combining all i.e. Total Grade marks.

Key points to remember for B.Ed. Admission:
- 20% seats are reserved for other University (Other than University of Calcutta) candidates. This type of reservation is applicable only for the fresher candidates.
- Maximum permissible age for a fresher candidate is 40 years (as on June 30, 2020) and relaxation of age for maximum five-year for students belonging SC/ST/ PWD.
- There is No age bar for a deputed candidate.

- Reservation of seats and upper age limit will be as per the rules of the Government of West Bengal and University of Calcutta.

Scholarship
- Candidates who are regular in classes, financially week and do not get any stipend or other benefits from Government will get Freeships/Fee Concession.
