IIFA Lancaster Degree College Campus Facilities 

The campus of IIFA Lancaster Degree College is spread on a huge area of land and has a very vibrant, collaborative, and positive learning-working ambiance for students to learn and teachers to teach. Also, students get numerous benefits when it comes to gaining practical exposure or grabbing internships as IIFA is in Silicon Valley of India, also called Bangalore. 

In addition, the main objective of the institution is not only to educate but to empower young minds by inculcating in them the best quality knowledge, skills, and values, so that they can become exceptional professionals in their respective domains. Following are some of the basic to advanced facilities the college has developed over the years for its students and staff.

Smart Lecture Rooms: All the classrooms of IIFA Lancaster Degree College are fully furnished, spacious, and well-ventilated so that daily lectures for various subjects can be conducted smoothly. Also, all modern amenities ranging from a projector, audio-visual teaching aids, and internet connectivity are available here. 

Due to the same reason, faculty are able to make classes more engaging for students by delivering course content through PPT, Animated Videos, etc. In addition to normal classrooms, a dedicated Audio-Video Training Room has also been developed by the institute.

Laboratories: “As an institution feels incomplete without good teachers, so does the knowledge without practical exposure”. Therefore new-gen CAD and Game Designing labs have been developed by the college on its campus. Also, well-trained instructors remain available in the labs to guide students and all labs are well-equipped with the latest devices.

Computer Center: To impart the best-quality knowledge using emerging technologies and make students digitally competent, a Computer lab with the latest computer systems and LAN configuration has been established by the college on campus. The space is primarily used by both students as well as teachers to do research about a topic on the internet and also to make presentations, finish assignments and projects, etc.

Library: To enhance students' and teachers subject knowledge through additional learning sources, the college has built a wonderful Library cum Knowledge Center on campus. The library hosts an extensively rich collection of textbooks, reference books, national and internationally reputed journals, Periodicals, CDs & DVDs, research papers, magazines, newspapers, and other required materials. And for every category of study material, a separate section has been made here. 

Hostels: The college also offers separate hostel facilities to both girls and boys, in order to give them a homely environment away from home, so that they can pursue their dreams comfortably. These hostels are well-resourced with amenities such as spacious single/double/triple occupancy rooms with attached/common washrooms, beds, tables, 24*7 power and water supply, large creation halls having a LED TV, Newspapers and Magazines, etc. 

Students can also avail internet and ironing of clothes like facilities at subsidized prices. Also, a mess has been established in both hostels, wherein students can enjoy both South and North Indian fresh, delicious and good quality foods, snacks. A separate Mess Committee consisting of students decides the menu on a cost-sharing basis as well. 

Transport: The college has enough arrangements to offer pickup and drop facilities to students from nearby locations in Bangalore. 

Seminar Hall: A cutting-edge Seminar Hall has been developed by the institution on campus so that various kinds of events such as guest lectures, workshops, webinars, seminars, and training programs can be conducted effortlessly and confidently. All facilities including a public speaking system, projectors, internet connectivity, audio-video systems, etc. are available here.

Fashion Designing Lab: An aesthetic lab has also been developed by the college dedicated to Fashion design students. Here they mainly learn about Garment Construction, Fashion Illustration, Pattern Making, and art of Sewing, etc. Well-educated and trained staff is available to guide students at every step.

Sound Engineering Studio: As the name itself is self-explained, a Studio for Sound Engineering students has been established to provide them with much-needed practical exposure. Along with the latest equipment, a separate stage is available here. 

Students Clubs: 3 Different student clubs have been made by the college, details for which are given below:

• Social and Environmental Club: Through this club, IIFA provides hands-on exposure and learning opportunities to students along with guidance for Entrepreneurship and awareness about the Earth and the changing environment. The aim of the college here is to prepare a globally relevant workforce that can bring positive changes in society.
• Cultural, Ethnic, and Language Club: This club has been established by the institution with the objective to provide a common platform to students to know each other and reduce linguistic barriers. In addition, students conduct a plethora of activities under the direction of the faculty.
• Theater Dance Club: The prime motto of this club is to bring out the hidden talents of students and keep them motivated. In other words, this club is for all those students who have an unquenchable thirst to be different from the crowd. So that they can invent new things, make mistakes, and learn from them in return. Also, the events which are organized under the banner of this club make students aware about different traditions.
